Talk about fast delivery. Hubby placed the order for the new camera on Sunday night—if you’re wondering what happened to the old one, find out here—and the package arrived yesterday afternoon. Of course, since I was happily instagramming away as I unpacked, this is old news for you folks who follow me on twitter. Anyway, here’s the quick recap:

I was going to pick on my hubby a little bit for his seemingly obsessive relationship with the new camera; after all, he spent over four hours fiddling with it and is still toying around with settings on and off—boys and their toys. However, I hesitate to tease him; after all, am I—the instagramming, pinning serial shopper who actually has a blog about fashion—any less obsessive? You know that saying about those who live in a glass house…

Since I started blogging, I’ve realized that I don’t have a lot of color in my wardrobe. I tend to purchase, and thus wear, mostly earth tones, greys, and black—so, where’s all my color? Aside from my accessories, there just isn’t much. With that in mind, when I spied this little draped, teal cardigan in the store, I knew I had to have it. A bargain for DKK 65—just under $12—and it manages to pull my pencil skirt and my striped tank top—no, I still haven’t had enough of stripes!—together quite nicely. A bonus is that the material is thin, which is perfect for warmer days, and I think it may end up in my suitcase when we head to Thailand in late January—we’re all booked at this point; I’m excited!

There’s something else I’m excited about, too, coming soon to this blog…unfortunately I can’t tell you more. I wish I could, but at the moment, things aren’t finalized, so I need to keep my lips sealed—or should I say my fingers from typing? Suffice to say, I think it’s something you will thoroughly enjoy.
Also, I’ve finally started my “self pinteresting” project, sadly delayed when the camera passed on. From now on I’ll take photos and pin my own outfits. That way you get a nice, close view, sans yours truly. You like?
