This month’s challenge is, for lack of a better term, challenging. Not that I’m complaining; my mind is just going every direction at once, like Jaime Madrox—if you’re not a comic book fan, I apologize for that confusing reference; otherwise, you might know him as the “multiple man”: he has trouble making decisions, which is something I can very much relate to, especially right now.
“Passion” can be interpreted in so many different ways—whispering sweet nothings or nibbles on the neck, anyone?—and as such, I’ve had a really hard time deciding what, exactly, the topic of my post should be.
I mean, which passion—trust me, there are plenty to choose from, I’m a very passionate person—do I select? And once selected, how to I incorporate it into an outfit? Should there even be an outfit?
In the end, I decided to select “creativity” as my passion topic—I love creativity in many of its forms; it can, and often does, transform the world for the better. I also decided there would be an outfit. Admittedly, it’s not especially creative, but what I really wanted to post were images from the Siam Center, where creativity is alive and well.
First things first, the outfit: Little bit of color to liven up the grey in the area and keep me feeling positive.
Scarf: Jim Thompson // Cardigan: Zizzi // Tank top: Janice // Jeans: H&M
Purse: Jim Thompson // Bracelet: Glitter // Ring: Street Vendor (Thailand)
Here are the other lovely participants in this month’s challenge (I’ll be adding pictures as I get them):
And last, but not least, I’m going to go ahead and add the next set of pictures as thumbnails, otherwise this post would require far too much scrolling. Just click whichever ones you want to see full size.
This is just a small taste of what the Siam Center had to offer; even a non-shoppaholic could easily find something interesting to look at while exploring. Have you ever been to a store like this? Where can I find more?
